A Residential Home for the disabled, our client was looking at further understanding where they could improve their productivity by reviewing their existing processes.

- mapped their AS-IS processes and studied them to understand opportunities for improvement
- identified that lots of their existing information were captured on hardcopy, and often repeated
- recommended TO-BE processes which involved the client going paperless and adopting an IT system that turn all their documents into online forms
- mock-up system was built and introduce for trial
- conducted hands-on training for the nurses, therapists and social workers to trial in a safe and highly-guided environment
- communicated the key benefits of the system to the staff, and rolled out occasional change readiness surveys to understand sentiments and concerns of the staff

With these success rates in the trial, the organization was able to justify an IT system funding; plus, they were able to specify their requirements in preparation for the actual commissioning of the system.
