A significant amount of our time is spent in communication each day. Communication is paramount more so in our workplace, as such, effective communication is highly critical for organisational success at every level from interpersonal to inter-group to intra-group, organisational or external.
This workshop seeks to provide a foundation of practices and behaviours, which will practically help the operational level staff in their daily work activities. We will also cover appropriate techniques in receiving and communicating information, how to incorporate essential competencies working in a team, as well as, addressing conflicts.
At the End of the Workshop, You’ll Learn to:
- Understand communication flow, and how to decipher the information received
- Respond using the best communication techniques, including listening and speaking well, as well as, using the right body language
- Be sensitive to the background of the sender/ receiver
- Identify signs, stages and causes of disagreement with individuals and/ or groups
- Choose the appropriate ways to discuss and resolve disagreement or differences to reach an win-win outcome
- Inform and suggest ways to resolve disagreement or differences with approval from your supervisor
