Continuous innovation is needed to drive business sustainability. Design thinking is a methodology that can enable individuals to develop an innovation mindset that ensures the organisation remains competitive without compromising on environmental care and social well-being.
Through a deep understanding of customers, participants will become sensitive to the myriad of opportunities to improve processes, products and experiences. In collaboration with team members, participants will learn to tap into customers’ needs and wants, to understand its potential impact on the people and environment, to prototype and test innovations, incorporate feedback and cultivate a mindset that is committed to delivering the future.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll learn to:
- Empathise with customers, identifying their needs and wants
- Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within your own scope of work
- Understand green-washing in order to identify and avoid green-washing
- Validate designed solutions to ensure it meets business objectives in a sustainable way
- Create a sustainable business value-proposition model
- Collaborate with others to improve ideas
- Present ideas to relevant stakeholders for feedback
