SkillsFuture for Digital Workplace (SFDW) 2.0
The digital economy is a fast emerging and growing area that will bring new opportunities for citizens and enterprises. Participants will learn about the technological advances prevalent in Singapore, common digital terms, cybersecurity and innovations. This will enable them to be self-assured and future-ready.
This programme will have a focus on Data Analytics while also addressing other key digital skillsets such as automation and cybersecurity. The programme begins by addressing the need for a mindset shift for greater efficacy in the learning and application of the digital knowledge and skills throughout the programme.
In Data Analytics, participants will understand why data cleaning, management, and reporting are important to a business. They will gather data using various technique and tools, clean it up, and make it ready for reporting. Documentation of their learning and action planning will utilise digital tools such as Padlet, so that participants will continue to apply what they have learned beyond the workshop and build their confidence to move into the digital age.
At the End of the Course, You’ll Learn to:
- Gain confidence in functioning in a technology-driven environment
- Understand what is data management, data analytics and the data value chain.
- Clean and prepare raw data for analysis
- Use data visualisation to extract data insights
- Communicating data insights to stakeholders using dashboards or infographics
- Acquire knowledge about cyber responsibility and security, and
- Be committed to enhancing their digital literacy and other competencies needed in the emerging economy
